BOZEMAN — Montana State kicker Kai Golan has entered the transfer portal, he announced Tuesday.
The 2024 Columbia Falls High School graduate has four seasons of college eligibility remaining.
First and foremost I would like to thank my coaches and teammates at Montana State University. With that being said I have officially entered the transfer portal with 4 years of eligibility. @tkptraining pic.twitter.com/nv4HCIeDwp

Golan was with the MSU football program during 2024 fall camp but didn't make that season's roster. He rejoined the Bobcats for their recently completed spring camp.
MSU's starting kicker last season, Myles Sansted, is a rising redshirt junior. The Cats signed Rock Springs (Wyoming) High senior kicker Michael Rubich as a preferred walk-on earlier this year as well.
Other players who've recently left MSU via the portal include reserve wide receiver Zachary Dodson-Greene and reserve defensive lineman Ryder Trujillo.
