Watan-On Thursday evening, the Houthi group announced that 10 U.S. airstrikes had struck northern Yemen, targeting the governorates of Sanaa, Saada, and Al-Jawf.
According to Al-Masirah TV, a Houthi-affiliated satellite channel, “American aggression warplanes launched an airstrike on the Hamdan District in Sanaa Governorate.”
The report added that the U.S. aircraft also carried out five airstrikes around the city of Saada, the Houthis’ main stronghold.

The Houthi group stated on Wednesday that the United States has launched more than 1,300 air and naval attacks on Yemen since mid-March, resulting in hundreds of civilian casualties.
The U.S. resumed its military campaign in Yemen on March 15, following orders from President Donald Trump to launch a “major offensive” against the Houthis—accompanied by threats to “completely eliminate” the group.
However, the Houthis have ignored Trump’s threats and have continued to launch attacks on Israeli targets and vessels in the Red Sea, in response to Israel’s resumed genocide in Gaza since March 18.
